CLARA MUNERA is a bilingual lawyer with experience, knowledge and training in real estate law, corporate law, international trade law and contract law. She worked as market access counsel for Everfit, doing research and comparative study and evaluation of bilateral trade agreements and trade preferences. As an attorney in the legal department of Cadenalco (merged with Exito), she dealt with contracts, real property and intellectual property law.
While working for Baker & McKenzie in Bogotá, she assisted foreign clients with the registration of their trademarks in Colombia. Previously, she worked at Ignacio Sanin´s Law firm (Medellín) handling corporate, real property and contract matters.

Rich purchased a Medellin apartment in October 2007 and then moved there full time in November 2007. He also maintains a home in Naples, FL. His background comes from the real estate, mortgage, securities, publishing, Internet and investment banking industries. His undergraduate degree is in Chemical Engineering Management from the University of Texas and he holds an MBA from the Ohio State University. He has lived in Florida for 14 years, Atlanta, GA for 11 years, Los Angeles for 8 years and is originally from Texas where he resided for 12 years.
Rich began traveling to Medellin Colombia in 2006 and quickly realized that Medellin may be one of the world’s best kept secrets primarily due to the misperceptions caused by the international press. David spent 16 years in the United States in New York City and Miami before returning to Medellin to join his brother John in the property management department. David assists with apartment check-in and check-out, inventory control, rent collections, owner bill payments, photo shoots and assistance with new sales listings. His background is varied including countless home and condo renovations, apartment building ownership, condominium developments and property conversions. He also has experience with the development of retirement and manufactured home communities.
Previous to his career in real estate, Joe was part owner and founding member of several high tech startup companies. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
With a background as an investor (not as a realtor or salesman), he is always evaluating purchase and investment options from the perspective of getting the best value and creating equity after purchase. He believes that Medellin has changed dramatically in the last fifteen years, and can easily be argued as the most beautiful, modern, progressive, clean and organized city in all of Latin America. He believes that the dramatic difference between the world’s perception and the actual reality allows for exceptional investment opportunities.

Carlos is a Colombian American born in New Jersey but raised in Medellin and Southern California. He received a degree in Economics from the University of Bolivariana in Medellin and worked in family businesses in Medellin as well as in the U.S. with several mass media companies, including Direct TV, in Miami, New York, Houston and Los Angeles. His positions included management, sales and marketing.
Carlos returned to Medellin in 2011 because of the strengthening Colombian economic environment as well as a desire to return to the paisa lifestyle. He currently resides in the El Retiro area of the Oriente but is also assisting in a green energy retirement project in Copacabana in Northern Medellin. He is a passionate advocate for the environment, green energy and agro-industrial-tourism in Colombia. His interests include coffee farms, teak and bamboo plantations and green energy residential developments. He is married with a beautiful paisa wife and a son. Carlos main hobby is raising bulldogs.

Jeremy is from Denver, CO where he obtained his Bachelor degree in Environmental Design -Architecture with emphasis on green oriented design & building sustainability. He has a well-rounded and advantageous mix of background experiences to draw from ranging from years of hands on construction work, stage prop design and creation, to designing and acting as construction manager on medium size multi use projects.
After spending many years traveling and sailing in the South Pacific and South East Asia, Jeremy arrived to Medellin in May of 2009 where he was captivated by the lively and friendly spirit of the local Paisas.
